Mathew Mytka
Co-founder & Chief Vision Shaper
Helping shape the vision for the Tethix platform. A dad, husband, amateur gardener, systems thinker, and wannabe extreme sports enthusiast. Experience working with startups, governments to fortune 500 companies. Mat helped establish Australias’ first entrepreneurship college and has worked at the intersection of applied ethics, trust and technologies for more than a decade.
Known to sometimes break out raps & rhymes.

Alja Isakovic
Founding Partner & Learning Experience Design Lead
Leading the direction of the learning experiences people have on Tethix. Alja is a humanist, storyteller, co-founder of Artesia product innovation studio, founder of ResponsibleTech.Work, Europe Code Week and CodeCatz, and advocate for greater diversity in tech. Her many years experience across product and UX roles in startups, is combined with great depth in instructional design in diverse settings.
Avid gamer and formidable LEGO builder.

Hilary Sutcliffe
Founding Partner & [TBD]
Director of Society inside, mother, mentor, speaker, advisor and down to earth straight talker. Hilary has spent decades advocating for and working in corporate social responsibility and with a more recent focus on trustworthy tech governance and responsible innovation. She speaks globally at events with the World Economic Forum, Carnegie Council and with bodies focused emerging technologies in nanotech and synthetic biology.
It’s said she is tougher on the tennis court than the board room. And that’s tough.

Thomas Philbeck
Founding partner & Ecosystem Sculptor
Connecting to the broader ecosystem in responsible innovation. Thomas is a dedicated father, global speaker and former professor. With years of experience helping executives and leaders navigate the challenges of responsible innovation. His involvement with the likes of the Carnegie Council and the World Economic Forum helps him bring rich insights to help sculpt a diverse ecosystem. Capable of rolling up his sleeves and getting stuff done.
Has a penchant for building stunning office furniture.

Bjorn Halfmann
Founding partner & Experience Design Director
Director and founder of muteo, Bjorn supports the muteo team to bring the brand vision and experience design to life. With more than a decade working internationally in branding and design. He has experience in the creative industries working with big brands thru to fintech and blockchain startups. Driven by his passion to design more trustworthy digital technologies.
A former German heavy rock star. Might secretly be riffing out solos in a garage somewhere.

Arunabh Pratp Singh
Web Developer
A up and coming social entrepreneur and electronics and communications engineer with a mission for social justice. He’s worked on high security systems in the public sector, and has been designing and engineering public safety products for several years. He dabbles in web development and enjoys making the world better.
Says he draws inspiration from action and sci-fi films for security ideas. It’s also said he is a cow and bird whisperer…

Gemma Palmer
Community Facilitator
Supporting the mission crew and nurturing the community. A mum, aspiring natural farmer, permaculture gardener and creative force. Gemma has been involved in helping local community groups grow and has a passion for ethical and sustainable change.
Sometimes found singing Disney songs while analysing the ethics of supply chains.

Guardian Council
The Guardians of the Tethix Galaxy. They help us in keeping aligned to our purpose, values and principles. Ensuring our pursuit of pragmatism does not mean unnecessary ethical trade-offs. And our tech is being built in alignment to the public interest.

Katina Michael
An inspirational socio-technical dynamo, mother, author, poet and educator and mentor to many. A professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence at Arizona State University. Founding editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society and published academic with over 200 peer reviewed papers. With her persistent pursuit of creating tech in the public interest, she helps guide and inspire the Tethix team in her role in the Guardian Council.

Roba Abbas
A persistent advocate for creation of public interest technology. A mother, published author and Lecturer and Academic Program Director with the Faculty of Business and Law at the University of Wollongong. Roba’s areas of focus include co-design and socio-technical systems, and emerging technologies. She is Co-Editor of the IEEE Transactions on Technology and Society and was the Technical Program Chair for the IEEE International Symposium on Technology and Society. She supports the Tethix team in shaping the co-design of the technologies being created.

Bianca Lopes
A powerhouse in finance and banking, digital identity and ethical use of emerging tech. Bianca speaks internationally, advises governments and central banks, has founded many companies and is advocate systemic change in tech. She is a UNESCO Business Impact Council Member in AI of ESG, Privacy and Ethics and is a global advocate of financial inclusion. Bianca brings deep expertise of personal data, digital identity systems and decentralised technologies.
